LUSAKA, 18/01/24 – IF YOU are vegetarian and have a soft palate for Chinese foods, the Pak Choi with Mushroom is one choice that might blow your taste buds away.
Prepared the way vegetables should be, not over cooked but cooked in such a way that they still retain their green colour and vegetable juices. Vegetables are mixed with mushrooms that break the green colour of vegetables with the khakhi or cream white or brown colour of local mushrooms.
Mushrooms come freshly picked and add their freshness to the already fresh green vegies of the Pak Choi.
The Pak Choi with Mushroom is one of the favourites of the New Far Eastern Restaurant.
Located at Agora Village in the Mass media area in Lusaka, the New Far Eastern Restaurant, has a great ambience of group meals as well as individual meal outings.
The waiters are always immaculately dressed in white and black and serve one with a smile. The restaurant has beautiful brown tables and chairs that have both a comfortable look and feel.
Other dishes one might want to sample include Chicken in Garlic Source, Kung Pao Chicken, Oyster duck and Map Tofu among others. Specials include Charcoal Fish, Roast Pork, Crayfish in Chili Sauce and Crispy Chicken Wings.
Back to the Pak Choi with Mushroom delicacy, it can be served with rice or just eaten as it. It is recommended that one digs in while it is still hot so as to appreciate Chinese cuisine and spices.
