Cycling Against Cholera Held

Lusaka 11/03/24 –  Several community cycling clubs were on March 10 competing in Lusaka in a Cycling Against Cholera competition held in Lusaka’s Ibex area.

They were competing in the 49km, 35km and 19 km races.

According to Sagason Matende, the following emerged victorious:

49 km Elite Race Winners

Yesterday’s results: elite men: First position: Jack Chimuka from Nakambala Cycling Club, Second position: Mackson Zimba from Twinpalm cycling club: third position:  Emmanuel Simundende from Red Arrows Cycling Club.

Women Elite Race

Yesterday’s results: elite women: first position: Vanessa Nokuthura Matende from Red Arrows Cycling club, Second position: Faides ng’ombe from red arrows cycling club: third position Annie from Red Arrows Cycling Club.

Mountain Bike race

Mountain bike yesterday results: first position mombotwa sikumba from Twinpalm cycling club: second position Brian mambwe from Twinpalm cycling club: third position derick shalomba from red arrows cycling club.

Kids race

Yesterday’s kids results: first position bwalya kapota from red arrows cycling club second position Kendrick Mutale from red arrows cycling club third position Lewis Sagason Matende junior from Red Arrows Cycling Club
